Some Lesser Known Facts About Mayo Japan

• Mayo Japan is a Japanese YouTuber. She gained immense popularity for her YouTube videos on Indian culture and food.

• While she was in school, she started her training in classical ballet dance form. She used to daily practise ballet until she finished high school. Later, she did her training in various Indian regional dance forms.

• After returning from India and completing her course in Hindi language, she started working at PwC, a global consulting firm. She worked there for a year, and then joined a startup IT firm in Japan, as a business development executive.

• While working at an IT firm, she started her blog site on which she uploaded blogs on Indian and Japanese culture. In 2017, she started her YouTube channel on which she uploaded the content of her blogs in videos. Soon, her videos started gaining immense popularity.

  

• She has also uploaded Bollywood songs and dance videos along with a few Indian and Japanese celebrities. She has around 2.84 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.

  

• In 2023, her dance video along with Hiroshi Suzuki, the ambassador of Japan to India to the song “Kaavaalaa” from the Tamil film ‘Jailer’ became very popular.

• She has started another YouTube channel on which she uploaded videos on Japanese and Hindi language tutorials.

• She loves animals and has shared a few pictures with cats on her Instagram account.
