  • Masoom Sharma is an Indian singer, lyricist, and composer, famous for rendering his voice to Haryanvi music videos. Masoom came into the limelight in 2014 for lending his voice to the Haryanvi song Kothe Chad Lalkaru, which amassed views of more than 2 crores.
  • Inclined towards singing at a young age, Masoom used to perform Haryanvi Ragnis during stage shows in his hometown.

  • Masoom’s debut music album, Jalwa Haryana, consisted of eight audio songs. However, the album failed to leave an impression among the viewers. Later, Masoom along with his friend, Mukesh Grover, launched GV Videos, a music company, which released cassettes and DVDs of Masoom’s Haryanvi songs.
  • In 2014, Masoom voiced the song Kothe Chad Lalkaru, featuring Anjali Raghav. Some of the hit tracks of Masoom are Gandaas Hori Se (2016), Gaddya Me Ek Luhari (2016), Challiya (2017), Baitha Balad Kade Laat Maar Kai Thaya Na Karte (2018), Kille Aala Jaat (2018), and Bheeda Palang (2018).

Masoom alleged that Manish used to chat indecently with several girls by faking himself as Masoom, which consequently, disgraced his image among his fans. When Masoom came to the notice of the fake Facebook account, he immediately reported the matter to the Julana police station and thereafter Manish was arrested.
  • On 20 January 2022, Masoom’s Haryanvi song, Chand, was released on YouTube, which was immensely liked by the viewers as it amassed over 3.5 crore views.   • On 23 June 2022, within three weeks after Sidhu Moose Wala‘s death, his song SYL was released on Youtube. The song allegedly highlighted various controversial issues like the contention between Punjab and Haryana regarding the Sutlej-Yamuna Link canal, ownership of Punjab in the canal’s water, undivided Punjab, the 1984 anti-Sikh Riots, and the hoisting of the Sikh flag at the Red Fort during the farmer agitation.
