• Manoj Bhawuk grew up in a middle-class family in Kausa village.

• He has worked as an actor-director in various TV serials like Birajoo Ke Biaah, Haathee Ke Daant, Maastar Ganesee Raam, and Ham Jeena Chaahate Hain.

• He started his career as a reporter with the TV channel Patna Doordarshan.

• In 1999, he worked as a story-screenplay writer, dialogue writer, and songwriter in the Bhojpuri TV serial ‘Tohare Se Ghar Banaye’ which was telecasted on Doordarshan Kendra Patna.

• From 2002 to 2003, he worked as a Production Engineer at Pearl Polymers Limited Company.

• In 2003, he started working as an engineer at Rwenzori Beverage Company Ltd in Kampala Uganda (East Africa). He worked there till 2005.

• In 2007, he was appointed as a Plant Engineer at Hadam Water Ltd, London, United Kingdom.

• From 2009 to 2012, Manoj worked as a Creative Head at Hamar TV Channel, Noida.

• He worked with actor Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua) in the 2013 Bhojpuri film ‘Rakhwala.’

• Manoj Bhawuk represented the Bhojpuri cinema in Mauritius on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of the arrival of indentured workers.

• He worked as an executive producer in Anjan TV channel from 2013 to 2015.

• In 2016, he was appointed as the Creative Consultant of Mahuaa TV Channel.

• In 2017, Manoj Bhawuk was appointed as a creative consultant of the Bhojpuri TV channel Mahuaa Plus.

  

• He was appointed as Project Head at Saregamapa at Essel Vision Production Limited in 2017.

• He has also appeared as a judge in the popular TV show ‘Bhauji No. 1.’

• In 2018, he was appointed as Project Head and anchor of the Bioscope Global Film Festival.

• Manoj Bhawuk is an expert in Bhojpuri literature. He has also done research on the history of the Bhojpuri Film Industry. He has participated as a literary expert and debater in many TV shows and programs in various countries like Nepal, Africa, Mauritius, and Great Britain.

• He is a promoter of the Bhojpuri language and literature in countries like the UK, Uganda, and Nepal.

• He has written ghazals like ‘Tasveer Zindagi Ke’ and ‘Chalani Mein Pani’ which were sung by the Bhojpuri singer Saroj Suman.

• He is the founder of the Bhojpuri Association of Uganda and Bhojpuri Society, London. He was also appointed as the Managing Minister of the All India Bhojpuri Literature Conference and National President of the World Bhojpuri Conference, Delhi.

• Manoj Bhawuk has worked as a News18 Hindi author, director at Achievers Junction, and editor of Hindusthan Samachar and Bhojpuri Junction.
