  • Manju Warrier is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Malayalam films. She is known for playing the role of Devaprabha Varma in the Malayalam film ‘Thooval Kottaram’ (1996).
  • When she was seventeen years old, she made her debut in the film industry. She worked in more than twenty films before taking a break from acting after getting married to actor Dileep.

  • She had been practised Bharatanatyam since the age of four, but gave up dancing after her marriage. In an interview, she talked about this and said,

    It was a much needed break because up until my marriage my life was hectic. A long break doing nothing and I enjoyed it.”

She said that she was so involved in the suicide scene that she was shooting at that time that she could not move when the train came in front of her.   • She is active in social work. On 1 January 2018, she gave the inaugural speech at the National Women’s Talk Festival in Thiruvananthapuram. In an interview, she talked about her involvement in social causes and said,
