• Manish Makhija is an Indian VJ and restaurant owner. The Indian actress and producer Pooja Bhatt is his ex-wife.

• When Manish was studying in school and college, he worked as a choreographer for different dance competitions.

• He once mentioned that he changed his job more than twenty times.

• Manish Makhija became popular as a video jockey on two Hindi TV shows named ‘The Udham Singh Show’ in 1997 and ‘Cash Cab – Meter Chalu Hai’ in 2008.

  

• He has also appeared in various TV commercials for brands like Britannia Checkers and Jat In The Mix- Limca.

• Manish and Pooja Bhatt first met while working for the Hindi film ‘Paap’ in 2003. They started dating and got married just one month later. However, after almost 11 years of being married, they decided to get a divorce. In an interview, Pooja talked about her divorce from Manish, she said,
  

  I choose to live life on MY terms & refuse to perform to the gallery. Certificates don’t make or break marriages & relationships! Life does! To all those who care & especially those that don’t my husband, Munna& Me have decided to part ways after 11 glorious years of marriage. Our split as some might call it is amicable & we hold each other in the highest esteem for now and forever. The reason I explain Is that we are both parts of the public domain. Our friends, well wishers & foes are free to now speculate.”

• In 2005, he worked as an assistant director in the Hindi film ‘Rog.’ He also tried his hand as a lyricist for the film ‘Jism 2’ in 2012 and composed music for the film ‘Cabaret’ in 2019.

• While working as a video jockey, Manish started a lounge bar named ‘The Other Side at Morgem Beach’ in Goa. Later, he started a few other companies like Ab-Markosys Private Limited, Moist Destinations Private Limited, and Greenapp Enterprises Private Limited. He then started a training centre Bark Beat for a high-intensity instinct development game. He also works as a trainer there.

• Manish often smokes cigarettes at various events.

  

• In an interview, the Indian actor Ranvir Shorey, who used to date Manish’s ex-wife Pooja Bhatt, shared that he and Manish used to be best friends at one time. Ranvir said,
  

  Manish used to be my best friend right up until after the incident, and then turned around and married Pooja. All kinds of relationships are manipulated and psychological warfare used.”
