• Mamta Kulkarni grew up in Mumbai.

• Her mother asked her to audition for a modelling project. She then appeared in various print commercials and other modelling projects.

• Her mother wanted her to become an actress. Mamta never wanted to make her career as an actor.

• When Vicky was in Dubai jail, she was taking care of his real estate business and a hotel in Dubai.

• In 2002, she appeared in the Hindi film ‘Kabhie Tum Kabhie Hum’ after which she left Bollywood.

• After leaving the entertainment industry, she moved to Dubai and later became a yogini. She follows the teachings of the Indian spiritual leader Mahayogi Gagangiri.

• The Indian action director Tinu Verma once shared that he secretly got married to Mamta, but after they had an argument, he left her and went back to his first wife and children. However, Mamta denied all such claims.

However, a few Indian spiritual leaders expressed their disappointment on making her Mahamandleshwar.

  

• On 31 January 2025, Rishi Ajay Das, the akhara’s founder, expelled Mamta Kulkarni and activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi. As per him, he accused Tripathi of committing treason against Sanatana Dharma by appointing Mamta who still had connections with the “glamourous world of Bollywood.” Ajay, in an interview, said,
  

  Without following any religious or akhada tradition, instead of making her renunciate, they directly conferred the title and patta of Mahamandaleshwar on her.”

Sabse Bada Khiladi
