• He served as the National Executive Member of the BJP Yuva Morcha. He was also in charge of the Haryana Yuva Morcha.

• Malvinder also served as the spokesperson for the BJP and was a member of the party’s core group in the Punjab unit.

• After serving many senior positions in the Bharatiya Janta Party, Malvinder left BJP because of his difference of opinion with the party during the farmers’ protest.

• Malvinder was introduced into the Aam Aadmi Party by Jarnail Singh (AAP’s Punjab affairs in-charge), Harpal Singh Cheema (Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly), Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer (MLA and Youth Wing state president), and Harchand Singh Barsat (AAP’s State General Secretary).
