Some Lesser Known Facts About Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka

• Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka is an Indian politician who became the fourth Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana on 7 December 2023. He is a member of the Indian National Congress and represents the Madhira constituency in the Telangana Legislative Assembly.

• He grew up in village Snanala Laxmipuram in Wyra Mandal district Khammam, Telangana.

• From 1990 to 1992, Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu served as an Executive Member of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC). He again held the position of PCC Secretary from 2000 to 2003. In 2007, he became a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) representing the Khammam constituency in Telangana.

• In 2009, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka contested the Member of the Legislative Assembly elections from the Madhira constituency and won. He was also appointed as a Member of the Legislative Council. However, in the same year, he was chosen as the Chief Whip for the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and he served in the position from 2009 to 2011. He then served as the Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 2011 to 2014.

  

• In the 2014 General Elections, he was elected as an MLA for the second time from Madhira Constituency.

• For the third time, in the 2018 General Elections, Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu was elected as an MLA again from Madhira Constituency. After Bodepudi Venkateswara Rao, he became the second person to achieve a hat trick as an MLA from Madhira Constituency.

• On 18 January 2019, INC President Rahul Gandhi appointed Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka as the leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) in the 2nd Telangana Assembly.

  

• He also served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Telangana Legislative Assembly for six months i.e. from 18 January 2019 to 6 June 2019.

• Once, in a media conversation, Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu shared his opinions about BRS. He said that BRS had looted the people of Telangana. ^[6]The Hindu He said,
