• Malini grew up in various countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Greece, Germany, Lebanon, and Somalia as her father was an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) Officer.

• Malini Agarwal started her career as a dancer after moving to Mumbai.

• From August 1995 to December 2000, she worked as a professional  dancer with Ronica Jacob’s dance troupe ‘The Planets.’

• She then joined 1D8 Technologies Mumbai as a copywriter. She worked there from 2000 to 2002.

• She worked professionally as a digital channel head for MTV channel from January 2001 to August 2003.

• Then she left her job to work as a blogger for a Gossip Column at Mid Day, where she worked from January 2006 to April 2008.

• In 2008, Malini started her blog, MissMalini.com as a hobby while professionally working in other companies. On her blog, she covered topics like Bollywood, Fashion trends, Beauty & Skincare, Lifestyle choices, travel stories, Food trends, and Indian celebrities.

• Malini changed her career path by working as a radio jockey at Win 94.6 FM, now known as Radio One. As a radio jockey, she hosted many shows like Horn Ok Please, Tiger Time with Malini, Overdrive, and Malini till Midnight.

• After leaving her job at the radio station, she became the Programming Director at Channel [v] India. Subsequently, she was promoted as the head of digital content for the channel, at the Indian branch.

• Her blog then transformed into Miss Malini Entertainment in 2012, and she became the Founder and Creator Director of the company and her husband worked as the CEO.

• She mentioned in an interview that she took inspiration for her blog from Perez Hilton, Refinery29, and Pop Sugar, and decided to give the blog her personal touch while writing about content.

• Her blog is in partnership with various fashion companies such as Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour, Cape Town Fashion Week, Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, and the Lakme Fashion Week. They host fashion walks and events together in India.

• Consecutively, Malini quit her job as the Digital Head with the success of her blog.
