Some Lesser Known Facts About Malati Gaurish

• Malati Gaurish is an Indian journalist and entrepreneur. She is known for being the wife of Kannada actor and filmmaker Gaurish Akki.

• After completing her formal education, Malati Gaurish began working as a news reporter at Tv9Kannada news channel and served there from 2006 to 2009.

  

• Thereafter, from 2009 to 2011, Malati Gaurish served as a programme producer at Suvarna News. In March 2013, she joined Samaya News as its senior reporter and worked there till March 2016.

• From 19 December 2016 to 15 November 2017, Malati Gaurish served as the head of the centre at Jana Pragathi Centre in Kengeri, Bangalore.

• On 16 November 2017, she joined Alma Media School, a journalism school established by her husband, Gaurish Akki, in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

  

• In October 2023, her husband, Gaurish Akki, participated in ‘Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10’ as a contestant. During his Bigg Boss journey, Malati Gaurish while talking to the host of the show Sudeep, released a message to Gaurish’s fans. Sudeep asked Malati to tell the weakness of Gaurish. She said,
  

  It is very difficult for my husband to see women..’

  Sudeep surprisingly asked Malati,

  If he sees women, it’s difficult.. what does that mean..”

  Malati continued that Gaurish was a very shy person who never talked to a woman. She explained,

  I mean, he is very shy when he sees women. When he sees women, he finds it difficult to talk. If he gets used to talking to women in the Bigg Boss house, it will be very beneficial for me. From now on, he will be able to talk to my friends.”

  

  Her message to Gaurish fans was,

  Hi Everyone.. Everyone may know, Now… Gaureesh has gone to bigg boss house.. Needed a little change in the middle of busy work.. I insisted and sent it myself.. Don’t talk about Gaureesh.. You all know his nature.. No one… May your love be cooperative as long as you are at home.”
