She added that she received only a brief backstage session from veteran announcer Tony Chimel and a few quick notes from WWE Sunday Night Heat and the rest she learned while she was on the ring, while doing her job.

• In the same interview, Lilian revealed that although she watched wrestling growing up, she had very little information about it when she started her career as a ring announcer. She said,
  

  I didn’t know these people [the WWF performers] … I grew up watching wrestling but I grew up watching Ric Flair, Andre The Giant … I didn’t know who The Rock was, I didn’t know who Stone Cold Steve Austin was, I didn’t know Triple H, I didn’t know any of these people!”
