  • He was named after a local priest.
  • Since his childhood, Liam Nesson was very passionate towards boxing, and he became a famous boxing champion in his province. He had played his last fight at the age of 17 before becoming a professional actor. 
  • While in school, he was offered a role in the school play, which he happily accepted; the reason was that a girl was also involved in the play for whom Neeson had feelings. He continued to act in school productions over the following years.
  • Nesson’s decision to join Hollywood was greatly influenced by the local minister, Ian Paisley by seeing him making Political and Religious speeches. 
  • Holocaust docudrama “Schindler’s List” (1993) was the turning point in his career.
