- Kaustav Bauri is an Indian student. He secured All India Rank (AIR) 3 in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2023.
- In an interview, he shared that his interest in Biology developed when he was in 9th grade and had a fascination for gaining knowledge about the intricacies of the human body. His father encouraged him to pursue a career in the medical field.
- When he was in the 11th class, he joined Aakash BYJU’s two-year integrated classroom course to prepare for the NEET-UG examination.
- While preparing for the NEET 2023 examination, he decided to stop using social media apps to avoid distractions.
- In an interview, while talking about how he prepared for the examination, he said that three months prior to the examination he thoroughly revised the NCERT books 4-5 times. He started to take mock tests one month before the examination and after each mock test, he did error analysis and attended the paper discussion sessions to correct his mistakes and improve the weak topics.
