Some Lesser Known Facts About Kaushik LM

• Kaushik LM was an Indian entertainment tracker, influencer, YouTube video jockey, and film reviewer. On 15 August 2022, he passed away after suffering a massive cardiac arrest in his sleep.

• Before joining the film industry, Kaushik LM worked for Infosys for three years as a software engineer. In 2007, he joined Infosys as a Senior Systems Engineer, and worked there till May 2010.

• In July 2012, Kaushik LM started working as a Journalist at Behindwoods.com and served the position till December 2015.

• In January 2016, Kaushik LM started reviewing recently released films and interviewing people from the Tamil film industry. He began promoting Indian films, celebrities, and brands on his verified Twitter handle.

• Later, Kaushik LM became a well-known social media influencer before joining the Galatta channel as its full-time Video Jockey. ^[3]Galatta Channel He participated in several group debates and discussions on films on various YouTube channels such as Cinema Pesalam, Film Companion, and Cine Ulagam.

• Kaushik LM remained very active on various social media platforms. He has over 10k followers on Instagram. On Twitter, he was followed by 427k people. He often posted the film reviews along with their pictures and videos on social media.

  

• Kaushik LM was often engaged in Instagram live interviews with renowned Tamil celebrities.

• On 15 August 2022, Kaushik LM was supposed to attend a press meeting for the upcoming Tamil film Jiivi 2 along with the lead characters Rohini and Karunakaran. However, he did not arrive at the conference. Kaushik LM was then called by his friends, who did not receive a response. In a media conversation, one of his colleagues stated that Kaushik LM slept around 2 pm in the afternoon and did not wake up. His colleague mentioned,
  

  He went to sleep around 2 pm, and did not wake up.”

• Apart from being a movie tracker, Kaushik LM used to write for many prominent news and media houses including TheNewsMinute where he used to write news stories, opinion columns, film reviews, music reviews, celebrity interviews, and box office reports. Soon after his demise, Galatta media penned his death news on Twitter. It wrote,
