• Kaka Ji is an Indian singer, lyricist, and music composer, who mainly works in the Punjabi music industry.

• He was born in an economically weak family in Chandu Majra, Patiala.

• He actively participated in singing competitions in his school and college days.

• Kaka even tried for the Indian Army but was rejected for his height as he fell short of one inch.

• While he was in college, his parents wanted him to concentrate on his studies instead of singing.
