• Kailash Vijayvargiya is an Indian politician who is associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Vijayvargiya was appointed as the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2015. He has also served as the Mayor of Indore and a cabinet minister in the Madhya Pradesh Government.

• He grew up in a middle-class family in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

  

• During the first year of college, Kailash stepped into student politics by joining the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). As a member of the ABVP, he took part in various social activities, events, and campaigns.

• In 2007, under his leadership, the state of Madhya Pradesh received 3 significant awards in the IT sector.

• In 2014, a grand Mahakumb was organised in Ujjain under his leadership.

• In the same year, the Bharatiya Janata Party appointed him as the in-charge of the Haryana state during the Legislative Assembly Elections in Haryana. The party won the elections for the first time, taking BJP’s tally from 4 to 47 seats.

• In 2015, Vijayvargiya was appointed as the in-charge of West Bengal during the West Bengal Legislative Assembly Elections.
