Some Lesser Known Facts About Jacob Elordi

• Jacob Elordi played rugby for his school until a back injury forced him to stop athletics.

• At age 12, he shifted his focus from sports to acting. He participated in several school plays and acted as the Cat in Hat in Seussical while he was in grade six.

• At age 14, he underwent training to learn various accents and acting.

• At his mother’s insistence, he worked as a model for a brief period at age 15. He never pursued the job because, according to him, he never got the right size clothes because of his height.

• After graduating high school, he attended an acting school in Melbourne Australia after which he relocated from Brisbane, Australia to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

• In 2017, he acted as an extra in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017).

• In 2018, he participated in demonstrations by March For Our Lives (MFOL), a student-led organisation that advocated for gun control legislation and ending gun violence. He also supports social causes such as Black Lives Matter.

  

• Some of his other roles were in The Very Excellent Mr Dundee as Chase Hogan, He Went That Way (2023) as Bobby Falls, Priscilla (2023) as Elvis Presley, and Saltburn (2023) as Felix Catton.
