Some Lesser Known Facts About Hricha Narayana

• Hricha Narayana grew up in a middle-class family.

  

• In childhood, she wanted to become a doctor and used to sing songs as a hobby.

• While growing up, she used to practice singing by listening to Lata Mangeshkar‘s songs.

• During her school and college days, she participated in various singing competitions.

• In 2006, she came to Mumbai along with her father to audition for the Hindi film ‘Saawariya’. However, the audition was a day later, and her father brought her back to their hometown. Later, she said that she regretted not waiting in Mumbai for one more day.

• She shifted from Jaunpur to Mumbai to learn singing professionally.

• After participating in the reality TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, she decided to make her career as a playback singer.

• She considers Lata Mangeshkar as her role model.

• She has sung songs in various South Indian films. She has also sung a song in the Hindi film Raajneeti.

• Hricha Narayana has worked with various singers like Rahim, Rahul Tiwari, and Natasha Ajit.

• She is trained in Western vocal and classical music. She is also trained in playing the piano.

• Apart from India, she has performed live in various cities including America, Dubai, Japan, Hong Kong, China, and Africa.

• Hricha Narayana has also lent her voice in Telugu, Kannada, Bhojpuri, and Tamil films.

• In 2018, she appeared in a few TV series like ‘Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali,’ ‘Kulfi Kumar Bajewala,’ and ‘Muskaan.’

  

• She is an avid animal lover and owns two pet dogs.
