Some Lesser Known Facts About Hira Khan

• Hira Khan is a Pakistani model and actor. In 2017, she won the Miss Veet Pakistan beauty pageant.

• While in school, she participated in various extracurricular activities. She used to perform in stage plays, skits, and dance competitions.

  

• While she was studying in school and college, she used to teach autistic children, who used to live near her home.

• Post her schooling, she applied for an internship in Bahrain, but her application for visa was rejected. Later, she saw the ad of the Miss Veet Pakistan contest on her Facebook account and applied for it.

• In 2017, she auditioned from Lahore for the beauty contest Miss Veet Pakistan and got selected. Later, she was declared the winner of the contest.
  

  

  In the final round of the contest, the judges were asked by the host to ask questions from the top 3 contestants. One of the judges, Adnan Siddiqui asked Hira,

  Out of the rest of the two finalists who deserved to win the contest?”

  To which she replied,

  Apart from me, if I have to choose one that would be Nafia (other contestant), as Nafia was once eliminated from the contest even then she worked hard to get back in the contest.”

  Another judge Mahira Khan asked her favourite word and least favourite word. Hira replied,

  Alhamdulillah is my favourite word and least favourite word is all abusive words.”

  The third judge Aamna Sheikh asked her the moments when she was disappointed with the judges and the show. Hira replied,

  She was called overconfident in the show, which she did not like.”

  After winning, she did a few campaigns and ads for Veet for a year as a part of her contract.

  

• Hira has appeared in TV commercials for many brands like Ufone Pakistan, Sprite, and Tooo Gud Biscuit.

  

• Before making her debut as an actor, she did an acting course in Islamabad, Pakistan.

• She acted in the 2020 Urdu short film ‘Mulaqat.’

  

• She has acted in a few Urdu TV dramas like ‘Mere Humsafar’ (2021; ARY Digital), ‘Rang Mahal’ (2021; Geo TV), ‘Woh Pagal Si’ (2022; ARY Digital), and ‘Guru’ (2023; Express TV).

  

• In an interview, she shared how she met her husband Arslan Khan. She said that they met through a common friend. She had shifted to her friend’s apartment after there was a power breakdown in Karachi, where she used to live earlier. At her friend’s house, she met Arslan. Initially, they became good friends, and later, they started dating each other. After a few years of their courtship period, Hira proposed Arslan for marriage in a flashmob organised by her.
