• Hemant Mahaur is an Indian Indian director, producer, writer, and actor, who is known for acting in several Bollywood films including Agent Vinod (2012), Highway (2014), and Phantom (2015).

• Almost every Sunday, Hemant’s father would take him and his mother to see a Hindi film. He made the decision to pursue acting as a career after growing up watching classic Indian cinema.

• While he was a student at the National School of Drama, he worked under theater activists Panchanan Patak and Lalit Mohan Thapaliyal, B V Karanth, Habib Tanvir, Satyadev Dube, Kanhayya Lal, Mohan Maharishi, and Ram Gopal Bajaj.

• During his time at the National School of Drama in New Delhi, Hemant Mahaur received training under the guidance of renowned actor Naseeruddin Shah.

  

• He appeared in numerous plays and theatrical festivals between 1989 and 1994, including the Ipta Festival and the Nandikar Theatrical Festival. Hemant appeared in the play ‘Dragon’ under the direction of Prasanna Heggodu Vols Handle.
