  • Hardwar Dubey was an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Prior to his death, he was serving as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from Uttar Pradesh. He also served as the Finance Minister of Uttar Pradesh in the Kalyan Singh Ministry.
  • He spent his childhood in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh.
  • While studying in college, Hardwar Dubey dedicated his services as a district campaigner for the RSS in Sitapur, Ayodhya, and Shahjahanpur.
  • In 1969, he made his way to Agra as the organizational minister of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, quickly establishing a strong presence and wielding influence within the realm of local politics.
  • Hardwar Dubey took on the role of Minister of the Metropolitan Unit in 1983. He served as the President of the Metropolis during the national convention of the BJP, which was held at Kothi Meena Bazar Maidan.

  • On 26 June 2023, at 4:30 am, Hardwar Dubey passed away after battling a prolonged illness at Fortis Hospital in Delhi. He had been admitted to the hospital the previous night following complaints of sudden chest pain. At the time of his demise, he was 74 years old. The news of his death saddened numerous prominent BJP leaders. Union Home Minister Amit Shah conveyed his condolences via Twitter, expressing his sorrow over the sudden demise of senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Hardwar Dubey.
