• Steinfeld began acting at age of 10. She initially appeared in various short films, including she portrayed the role of Talia Alden in the award-winning film She’s a Fox (2009).

• She was home-schooled from 2008 until her high school graduation in June 2015.

• Steinfeld’s father is Jewish, and her mother is Christian.

• When Steinfeld was just 14, she was selected to play Juliet in a 2013 adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.

• In 2023, Steinfeld portrayed the role of Violet in the romance-drama Begin Again. She portrayed the role of Violet Mulligan, Dan and Miriam’s fourteen-year-old daughter

• Steinfeld has appeared in various popular films like the Pitch Perfect film series (2015–2017) and The Edge of Seventeen (2016), the film earned her a Golden Globe nomination. She also starred in Ender’s Game (2013).
