Some Lesser Known Facts About Gurleen Pannu

• Gurleen Pannu completed most of her school education in Jalandhar, Punjab.

• She excelled in her studies and was the university topper in Microbiology in her undergraduate course.

• In college, she was part of the theatre and dramatics club and participated in many talent and open mic shows.

• According to her, after she performed in an open mic show organised by a friend where she talked about her teenage years, she decided to pursue comedy as a career.

• She particularly likes writing scripts.

• She is known for her unique style of storytelling and observational humour.

• In 2021, comedian and writer, Gursimran Khamba, was instrumental in bringing her to the SonyLIV show Chalo Koi Baat Nahi, where she continued as the writer of the show for two years.

• In 2022, she participated in the third season of the stand-up comedy reality show, Comicstaan, on Amazon Prime Video. She was the runner-up of the competition and won the cash prize of Rs 10 Lakh.

  

• She has performed her stand-up comedy solo show, Pannu Yaar, in different cities since 2022.
