• Gaurav has been very fond of dancing since childhood.

• During his BTech, Gaurav used to participate in various annual programs held in his college. After this, a close friend of him advised him to try his luck in acting. His friend’s uncle was a producer in Oriya films who helped him getting a role in films.

• After studying BTech, Gaurav Jha did an engineering job for a few years.

• After appearing in 7 Oriya films, he got an offer to work in a Bhojpuri film made under the banner of Mithila Talkies. He then worked in the Bhojpuri film ‘Jaan Lebu Ka Ho.’

• He played the lead role in the 2017 Bhojpuri film ‘Baap Re Baap.’ He then appeared in a few hit Bhojpuri films like ‘Bin Tere O Saathi Re’ and ‘Rani Hum Ho Gayeeli Tohar.’ He has also lent his voice to one of the songs in the films.

• Along with the Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh, he has acted in the Bhojpuri films ‘Jaan Lebu Ka Ho’ and ‘Lootere.’

• He once participated in the Dishum TV Channel’s TV show ‘Dance Ke Tadka.’

• He appeared in the 2021 Bhojpuri comedy film ‘Satrangi Balam’ produced by Sandeep Singh.

  

• He has worked in many Bhojpuri films including Naya Vivah, Maan Samman, Qahar, Gangstar Dulhania, and Jawaani Zindabad.

• In 2022, he acted in the Bhojpuri film ‘Lady Singham’ along with the Bhojpuri actress Rani Chatterjee and Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor.
