Sonali and Sofik have been dating since 2023.
In November 2025, Sonali and her boyfriend’s private video was leaked online, which was widely streamed on X, YouTube, and Telegram channels.
After this incident, Sonal and Sofik apologised on their Instagram accounts.
In her video, Sonali talked about how the incident affected her life and how the leak had deeply disturbed her. According to her, the video was stolen and shared on the internet without their prior consent.
She further alleged that it was Rubel who leaked the video. She added that
Someone stole our video and leaked it. Since then, I’ve been having constant suicidal thoughts. If anything happens to me, Rubel-the one who made the video viral-will be responsible. He had been blackmailing us, and when we started working somewhere else, he leaked the video.”

According to her boyfriend Sofik, the video was one year old. In his video, he said,
Even I didn’t have this video. My girlfriend had it. We trusted a friend with our phones, who knew our passwords. He took the video and blackmailed us. When I stopped contact, he posted it online. I considered him like a brother, but he betrayed that trust.”
Dustu Sonali has also filed a complaint against the man who leaked the video.
