• Dhruv Verma worked for the welfare of stray dogs during his school years. In fact, 2 out of his 3 dogs are rescued strays (Zorro and Misty).

• He has specialized in weapon training and is able to properly handle over 15 different rifles and handguns.

  

• He has a keen interest in advanced English literature. He did an Advanced Program in Psychology and History of the United States under PhD Professor Dr Kapadia.

• During his school life, he actively participated in various cultural activities. While he was in school, he won many awards in Hindi and English elocution and debates.

• He has received awards for playing the role of a high functioning sociopath in an English Drama play, and he has also won an award for playing the role of “The Blue Bird” a character from Salman Rushdie’s novel: Haroun and the Sea of Stories.

• He was declared as the winner of Jehangir Patel Essay competition all over Mumbai and was selected to write for the Commonwealth Essay Competition.

• Being founded as a choir school, he was part of the Choir. For his numerous achievements for his house, he was made the House Captain and led the house to the closest-ever it had been in 12 years, to achieve the annual House cup trophy. • He has received specialised training in Krav Maga (Israeli Fighting style developed for the army) and Jyrki Sario Defendo (Defensive Fighting Style developed for the European police) and boxing under the expert fight master Mr Bartek Dobrowolski, owner of “Feniks Bielsko Biala” Poland. Now, he wants to venture into the training of Aikido like the famous Steven Seagal.

• Dhruv received specialized training for his action roles in the usage and technique of 17 different Handguns, rifles and shotguns. Now, he will be training for Sniper techniques for his role in the Good Maharaja.

• Dhruv Verma trained for horse riding under the Expert leadership of Mr Suresh Taparia (renowned Polo player, and riding instructor for Jacqueline Fernandez, Ranbir Kapoor and other Bollywood actors) in the Amateur Riders club in Mahalaxmi racecourse. He took further training in the “Akademia Jazdy Konnej Solka” of Poland where he completed the course and was made a member of the Polish Equestrian Federation.
