• Devlin Hodges was only 2 years old when he started playing ice hockey. He later played all sports as a shortstop in baseball, a point guard in basketball and a quarterback in football.

  

• When he was 8-9 years old, he participated in a football training camp organized by the NFL legend Don Shula.

• While studying in 8th grade, he won the 2009 World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest in Stuttgart, Ark., after which his friends gave him the nickname ‘Duck.’

• During a 2019 interview, he talked about his religious journey and said, “I wasn’t a cradle Catholic, but a convert. When I was a sophomore in high school, I went with a friend to Mass. And I could feel the presence of God there.”

• While studying at Samford University, he played quarterback for the Samford Bulldogs team.

  

• On 13 May 2019, he signed up with Pittsburgh Steelers as a free agent.

• They waived him off on 31 August 2019 before re-signing him on 10 September 2019.

  

• On 13 October 2019, he played his first game as a starter QB for the Steelers against the Los Angeles Chargers.

• They waived him on 6 September 2020 before re-signing him the next day. His contract ultimately expired on 18 January 2021.

• He signed a reserve/future contract with the Los Angeles Rams on 25 January 2021, but they waived him on 23 August 2021.

  

• On 16 September 2021, he moved to the Canadian Football League (CFL) after signing a 3-year contract with the Ottawa Redblacks.

  

• On 22 April 2022, he retired from the professional football.

• In February 2023, he joined Mossy Oak Properties in Arkansas and became a reality estate agent.

  

• He started dating the country singer Lainey Wilson in 2023 but kept it hidden until 2024.
