Some Lesser Known Facts About Chandrakanth

• After completing his formal education, Chandrakanth began working as a freelance model.

• During the same time, he worked as a general manager at Group InfoTech in Hyderabad.

• After making his acting debut as Narsingh in the television serial Sravana Sameeralu (2013) on Telugu Daily, he appeared in many television serials such as Radhamma Kuthuru (2019) on Zee Telugu, Suryakantham (2019) on Zee Telugu, Karthika Deepam (2022) on Maa TV, Trinayani (2023) on Zee Telugu, and Maguva O Maguva (2024) on Star Maa.

  

• On 17 May 2024, he died by hanging himself at his residence in Alkapur, Hyderabad, five days after the death of his rumoured wife and actress Pavithra Jayaram.

• On 18 May 2024, Shilpa, Chandrakanth’s first wife, said in an interview that she was a victim of domestic abuse and Chandrakanth distanced himself from her after meeting actress Pavithra Jayaram.

  

• She revealed that Chandrakanth visited their home after Jayaram’s death but avoided her completely. He also refused her request to stay together for the sake of their children.

• Shilpa alleged that Jayaram often threatened her over the phone. Chandrakanth ignored his kids. However, he used to care for Jayaram’s children from her previous marriage.

• Shilpa also claimed that Pavithra Jayaram prevented Chandrakanth from visiting her and their children.
