• Chalaki Chanti is an Indian actor and comedian. He is known for his Telugu TV comedy shows.

• He was born and brought up in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

  

• After dropping out of college, he worked as a customer executive at Tata Telecommunications in Hyderabad, Telangana.

• Simultaneously, he used to perform as a part-time mimicry artist at Hussain Sagar Tourism Boat Rides.

• He then worked as a manager in a guest house to earn a living.

• Later, he got an opportunity to work as an RJ at Radio Mirchi. He then hosted a radio show ‘Chanti Bank,’ which became popular.

  

• In 2013, the Telugu film producer Shyam Prasad Reddy offered Chanti to perform in the TV comedy show ‘Jabardasth’ as a team leader of the team ‘Chalaki Chanti & Team.’ He agreed to it. He gained immense popularity with the TV show.

• Chanti has performed in many popular Telugu TV comedy shows such as ‘Connexion’ (2015), ‘Pataas’ (2015), and ‘Sudheer Gaadi Intlo Deyyam’ (2019).

• In 2016, Chanti uploaded a post on his Facebook account which offended a fan of the Indian actor Prabhas. The fan started posting abusive comments on Chanti’s post. • He has met with a car accident twice. In 2018, while he was in his car, crossing National Highway-44 at Balanagar, Mahbubnagar, Telangana, his car was hit by another car.
