Bushra was born into an influential Wattoo family in Punjab province of Pakistan.

She is a renowned Pir (faith healer) at the Baba Farid Ganj Shakar in Pakpattan, where she is popularly known as “Pinki Bibi.”
She met Imran Khan for the first time in 2016 when Imran started visiting her to seek spiritual advice.
After a few meetings, Imran was flattered by her level of spirituality.
Imran proposed to her for marriage after she divorced her husband.
Bushra had consulted her family and children before divorcing her first husband to marry Imran, but Imran may haven’t taken his family members into confidence as his sisters weren’t present in the marriage ceremony.
