• Soon after his birth, Big Boogie moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where he was raised by his parents.

  When I found I can make money off it, that it’s a hustle, I was like OK. See, where I’m from I didn’t know about the music business. But when I got paid from one show — I was like, oh my God. I can help my mama out, help my family out.”

• Big Boogie used to suffer from extreme anger issues when he was in his late teens. He used to punch holes in the walls when he used to be angry.

• He used to be a barber before getting into the entertainment industry.

• Big Boogie has an unreleased song that he wrote about his father that he never released and keeps it for himself to remember his father.

• In 2020, Big Boogie created his YouTube channel named ‘Big Boogie Music’ on which he started uploading his songs. His YouTube channel holds more than 8 lakh 20 thousand subscribers, as of 2024.

• In the same year, Big Boogie was signed by the record label named ‘Collective Music Group’ which was founded by the American rapper Yo Gotti.

• In the same year, Big Boogie released his album named ‘Underrated’ which consisted of a total of 16 songs. One of the songs from the album titled ‘Pop Out’ holds more than 60 million views on YouTube, as of 2024.
