• Arun Srinivas was born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

• Srinivas has over twenty years of experience in sales, marketing, and leadership within the consumer and technology sectors.

• After completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Arun started his professional journey with Reebok, Mumbai in 1996 as a product manager.

• In 1998, he was promoted to regional sales manager for South India, and in 2000, promoted to marketing manager. Arun served 5 years at Reebok India.

• In 2001, he joined Hindustan Unilever (HUL), Mumbai, as brand sales manager, North India. Arun had spent more than 15 years in increasing responsibility roles.

• From leading regional sales teams to steering major FMCG categories like skin care, beverages, and foods, Srinivas played a key role in shaping strategy and driving growth for household brands including Fair & Lovely, Vaseline, Lakmé, and Knorr.

• In May 2012, he was appointed Vice President of the Skin Care & Makeup business. In 2014, he was promoted to Category Vice President for the Foods business in South Asia. He was responsible for creating marketing strategies for the Foods category in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

• After leaving HUL in 2017, Srinivas entered the investment world with WestBridge Capital, Bangalore, as an Operating Advisor.

• Arun spearheaded the team that invested in two Indian personal care companies, Vini Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd (known for its Fogg deodorants) and Enrich Salons (one of the leading salon chains in India). He served as an advisor for Vini Cosmetics and as a board member for Enrich Salons.

• At WestBridge Capital, Arun was part of several deals and evaluated hundreds of companies raising capital across sectors.

• In 2019, Srinivas joined Ola, Bangalore, as Chief Operating Officer and Global Chief Marketing Officer, where he managed the India business, including marketing and revenue functions, and was involved in the company’s expansion to the UK.

• Srinivas entered the tech sector in 2020joining Meta as Director and Head of the Global Business Group in India, where he led its global business group in India, working with large advertisers and agencies to scale Meta’s platforms, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, across India.

• In 2022, he became the Director and Head of the Meta Ads Business in India, where he led revenue efforts and was responsible for sales, creative, and measurement functions. He also focused on strategy and execution around AI, short-form video (Reels), and business messaging.

• On June 16, 2025, Arun was appointed as the Managing Director and Head of Meta India, effective July 1, 2025. In this position, he will be responsible for aligning Meta’s business, innovation, and revenue objectives in India while strengthening partnerships with key brands, developers, and advertisers.
