Some Lesser Known Facts About Aria

• Aria is an Indian K-pop singer and actress who gained fame as the youngest member, or “maknae,” of X:in, an all-girl K-pop band.

• She also holds the distinction of being the second Indian K-pop idol to debut in the Korean pop industry, following Sriya of BLACKSWAN. She also became the first Malayali K-pop singer.

• Aria was the one who thought of the band’s current name. According to her, X:in means “to go further” in Latin which she thought is really cool. ^[4]껌TV – YouTube

• In pursuit of her dream of becoming a Korean artist, Aria began her training under GBK Entertainment on January 1, 2022, until February 11, 2023. On November 29, 2022, her agency announced her selection as one of the five members of the upcoming girl group MEP-C, but she later withdrew from the group due to personal reasons.

  

• On February 11, 2023, Aria joined ESCROW Entertainment and was revealed as the final member of X:IN on March 8, 2023.

  

• The group’s debut music video, “Keeping The Fire,” released on April 11, 2023, garnered 97K views within 24 hours. Prior to the album’s release, they also released a pre-debut single, “Who Am I,” on March 12, 2023.

• Aria’s unique looks and ethnicity have made her a standout member of the group, attracting attention and becoming viral in Korean and Chinese forums.

  

• X:IN performed “Keeping The Fire” on the popular South Korean music program, SBS Inkigayo, marking Aria’s debut on the show and making her the first Indian to perform on Inkigayo.

• Aria can speak four languages that include Hindi, English, Malayalam, and Korean.
