Some Lesser Known Facts About Archana Makwana

Archana Makwana had a passion for fashion designing since she was a child.

At 14, she led Gujarat’s state basketball team as its captain.

After completing her graduation, she started her fashion brand named ‘House of Archana’ in 2006.

In the same year, she did a photoshoot for The Times of India, featuring actor Farooq Shaikh’s favorite horses.

In 2016, she started her fashion brand Archana’s Fashion House.

In 2017, she became the first runner up of Mrs India Ahmedabad International.

She did her first solo international exhibition in Dubai in 2018.

In 2019, she presented her winter festive collection ‘Maktub’ in season 12 of the India Runway Week.

Archana Makwana has been a jury member for several fashion shows such as Sanskruti Sartorial.

She is a national level basketball player. In 2020, she won a silver medal at 3rd National Masters Games, where she played for the Gujarat’s Women’s (30+) Basket Ball team.
