• Anurah Dobhal is an Indian moto vlogger and social media influencer. In 2023, he participated in the reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss season 17,’ which aired on Colors.

• At the young age of 6, he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. After undergoing treatment, he recovered from the disease. He also had to deal with asthma during his childhood. ^[10]YouTube – RealHit

  

• Anurag comes from a lower-middle-class family that was not financially strong. His father was a teacher at a government school and made Rs. 1200 every month. Out of this, they spend Rs. 800 on Anurag’s medical bills.

• His father, Jadmaba Prasad Dobhal, was a mathematics teacher. He took various initiatives to make education entertaining for the students. For his work, he was awarded the state-level Best Teacher Award in 2009, and the President’s Award in 2010. ^[11]NDTV

• Anurag shares a good bond with Bhavya Chauhan and considers her as his sister. They often go on bike trips together.

• After achieving an impressive score of 95% in his 12th class examinations in 2014, Anurag expressed a desire for a KTM 200 bike to his father. However, due to their financial situation, his father was unable to fulfil this request so, he took up a part-time job as a tutor to save up for the bike himself.

• He started his YouTube journey when he was 20 years old, but he always prioritized his studies. His own studies and tuition allowed him to upload only 3 vlogs per month. However, once he completed his formal education, he increased his video number to 3 vlogs per week.

• He offered private tuition to the students and charged Rs. 300 each student per month. He also taught as a part-time teacher at a local school. He is particularly skilled in the subjects of Economics, Accounts, and Business Studies.

• In 2018, he got his first bike, a KTM RC 200, and started making vlogs. He has saved Rs. 4-5 lakhs till now so he put his desire to buy the super bike Kawasaki which cost Rs. 9 lakh at that time.

• He became famous during his visit to the Pakistan-Kartarpur Corridor as he was the first motor vlogger who visited the place.

  

• In 2020, when the coronavirus hit India and lockdown was imposed, he lost his job as a teacher. Then, he became a full-time YouTuber. He has saved Rs. 4-5 lakhs till now so he put his desire to buy the super bike Kawasaki which cost Rs. 9 lakh at that time. Anurag’s father took a loan of Rs. 5 lakh to get him that bike. • He is not only famous in India but in Nepal and Bhutan too, he has a vast fan following.

• His ex-girlfriend, Savya, hails from Nepal and is also a motor vlogger. They were about to get married when a controversy took place which led to their separation. After the breakup, Anurag suffered from severe depression and suicidal thoughts. • He is a friend of Big Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav. About his friendship with him, in an interview, he said,
  

  I firmly adhere to the principle of not forming relationships based solely on financial gain. It might come as a surprise, but Elvish extended his support to me even before he became acquainted with me personally. Back then, his actions were not driven by profit motives. During his stint inside the Bigg Boss house, my support for him was not fueled by any profit-oriented agenda, and this remains true now.”

  

• In 2023, he appeared as a contestant in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss Season 17,’ which aired on Colors TV and streamed on JioCinema. Anurag was allotted the brain house in the show.
  

  

   

• During the show, Dobhal accused Bigg Boss of being biased towards certain contestants, specifically noting special treatment for Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, as well as extra sleep privileges for Isha Malviya and Ankita Lokhande. Bigg Boss, on the other hand, countered and said that the show had made it clear from the start that it could have favourites and non-favourites. Bigg Boss revealed that Dobhal had not auditioned but requested to join the show. Bigg Boss further disclosed that the show’s coordinators approached Dobhal’s family before Ankita and Vicky’s to visit Dobhal in the show, but they declined. In response to these revelations, Dobhal announced his decision to leave the show and agreed to pay a Rs. 2 crore penalty for leaving the show mid-season. ^[14]The Indian Express
