• Growing up, Ankur wasn’t very good at studies but loved participating in extracurricular activities. He used to anchor and organise school events and participate in dance competitions.

• A skilled dancer, he used to run a dance academy in Kichha before becoming a digital content creator.

• Ankur was fond of watching videos by TVF (The Viral Fever) which featured comedians like Jitendra Kumar (Jeetu on TVF) and Zakir Khan. He would also watch the TV show Comedy Circus in which stand-up comedians like Kapil Sharma performed short skits. All of this inspired him to become a comedy content creator.

• He started making comedy videos for Instagram with his friend Aavesh Ali in 2017.

• In 2022, Ankur gained popularity with his relatable comedy videos based on everyday things. In an interview, while talking about the same, he said,
  

  I come from a middle-class Indian family, so whatever I show in my videos, those things keep happening in our daily routine. It’s like that only. I keep observing things and then create reels out of them.”

• His famous Instagram reels include Just Indian Truck Driver, Fufaji in Every Wedding, and Indian Padosi in Shaadi.

• In 2023, his point-of-view-style Instagram video “Just Indian Crow” went viral on the internet. In the video, Agarwal, dressed in a black cloak, pretends to be an Indian crow. Referring to the popular Thirsty Crow story, he asks people to add water to his earthen bowl or else he will have to add pebbles to it. He also points to many Indian myths like the cawing of the crow means guests are going to visit.

• He has over 1 million followers on Instagram.

• He also runs a YouTube channel titled “Ankur Agarwal Vines” on which he uploads his daily lifestyle and travel vlogs with Aavesh Ali.

• In an interview, in 2023, he shared that he was planning to change his channel’s name from ‘Ankur Agarwal Vines’ to ‘Ankur Agarwal Act.’
