  • Anisa is the youngest of 5 siblings in her family.
  • To support her family financially, Anisa has given tuition to children, applied mehendi at weddings, and even stitched pillow covers.
  • Before coming into the shooting sport, Anisa tried various sports such as javelin throw, discus throw, kho-kho, and volleyball. She even played football at the national level for five years and represented her state kabaddi team.
  • Anisa won the title of best NCC shooter in her school.
  • Anisa’s father used to play professional football at the club level.
  • Anisa worked as a primary teacher at the Lady Hawa Bai Girls High School, and later, she started working as a Ticket-Collector for the Indian Railways at Vile Parle railway station of Maharashtra.
