• Animesh was preparing for the final level of the CA course before coming into gaming. He has also completed the level one of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and FRM (Financial Risk Manager).

• Animesh started gaming during his college days; the first game he played was Boom Beach.

• Animesh picked his gaming name ‘8bit Thug’ from a song in the movie The Dictator.

• Animesh has more than 100 sneakers in his collection of expensive shoes.

  

• After Animesh achieved his desired academic results, he took a year’s break from his studies to pursue a gaming career to which his parents agreed.

• In 2018, Animesh began his professional Esports journey as a PUBG Mobile player.

• Animesh represented India at the Asia finals of the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge 2018 (PMSC 2018) in Thailand. It was one of the first official PUBG Mobile events, and he was part of the first Indian roster to participate in it.
