• Anand Mohan Pandey grew up in a middle-class family of farmers.

• Since childhood, he was inclined towards singing. He started practising singing along with the harmonium during his school days. He used to practice every day at 3 am.

• He got the opportunity to do a stage show for the first time under the Bhojpuri folk singer Bharat Sharma Vyas.

• In the early days of singing, he used to sing songs for various shows of Akashvani Patna and Doordarshan.

• He started his singing career with T-Series in 2000.

• In 2003, he sang the Bhojpuri song “Kaisan Ba ​​Jamana Kaisan Sarkar Ba” targeting the Indian government on unemployment.

• He has not taken any professional training in acting.

• He has sung the Bhojpuri song “Bihar Mein Jiyal Haram Ho Gail” criticising the Bihar government. After which the MLA in Vidhan Sabha strongly opposed him.

• In 2011, he shot a few scenes for the Hindi film ‘Double Dhamaal.’ However, after his scenes were deleted from the film, he decided not to work in Bollywood films.
