• Amir ADS is an Indian actor, film director, dancer, and choreographer, who predominantly works in the Tamil entertainment industry. Amir is the founder of the ADS (Amir Dance Studio) Crew Ooty. In 2021, he came into the spotlight after he participated in the reality TV show Bigg Boss Tamil season 5.

• Amir grew up in a middle-class family in Ooty, Tamil Nadu.

• He developed an interest in dance at a young age and began learning it by watching it on TV and then practising it.

• In his school days, he took part in various dance competitions.

• He began his career as a dancer and gave various dance performances on stage.

• In 2009, he appeared as a contestant in the Tamil dance reality TV show Ungalil Yaar Prabhudeva.

• Two years later, he founded his dance studio named ADS (Amir Dance Studio) Crew Ooty in Tamil Nadu. Ashref Ash and his wife Shyji ADS helped him to set up his studio. Amir provides training in various dance forms to students in his studio. many of his students have taken part in several popular reality TV dance shows.

• In 2017, Amir worked as a choreographer of ADS Boys and ADS Girls teams in the dance reality TV show Kings of Dance Season 2. While both teams gave impressive performances throughout the show, only the ADS girls team reached the champion round, where they finished as first runner-up.

  

• In the same year, he worked as a choreographer for the Malayalam film Team 5.

• He has also worked as a choreographer for Tamil films Yenda Thalaiyila Yenna Vekkala (2018) and Aaradi (2019).

• In 2018, he launched his clothing line Meesakar.

  

• In 2019, Amir choreographed the dance performances of the ADS team that participated in the Indian Hip Hop Dance Championship. The team emerged as the winner of the championship.

• In 2022, Amir AdS, along with Pavani Reddy, participated in the couple reality TV show BB Jodigal, where they emerged as the winners. The show aired on Star Vijay and also streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.

  

• Amir has choreographed the Tamil songs Victory by Paul B Sailus, Yogi Sekar, and Kevin N and Baila Kapasa by Sam Vishal (featuring Prabhu Deva).

  

• In 2023, he played the role of Jijo in the Tamil-language action heist film Thunivu. The film also starred Pavani Reddy and was released on Netflix.

  

• In the same year, he began shooting for his directorial debut film in which he would cast in a lead role opposite Pavani Reddy. Amir began writing the script of the film post his exit from Bigg Boss Tamil season 5.

• In an interview, Amir disclosed that his mother always wanted him to become a choreographer.

• In his leisure time, Amir ADS loves to travel and do adventure sports.

  

• An avid animal lover, Amir ADS owns a pet cat and a parrot.
