  • Before venturing into Hindi films and TV shows, he worked in numerous stage plays and theatrical productions. His journey in theatre began in March 1975.
  • After Akhil Mishra came from Kanpur to Mumbai, he enrolled in an acting school in Mumbai to learn acting but lost interest and left the school. He then became involved in theatre and gained recognition in that field. The same acting school that he had dropped out of later hired him as an acting teacher.
