On 26 January 2007, he started his YouTube channel known as Akbar Chaudry.

In November 2009, he joined Firefly Theatre in Karachi and worked until September 2012.

In June 2011, he joined Engro Powergen as an intern and worked until July 2011.

In 2011, he joined Cogito Productions as a theatre actor and worked until 2014. Some of the plays in which he appeared while working with Cogito Productions are One Night Stand, Bohat Kuch Hota Hai, and Mohatarma Please.
