- Ajinkya Deo comes from a filmy background; as his parents are renowned Marathi film artists and his brother is a film director.
- Initially, he wanted to become a pilot but later, he chose acting as his career.
- He made his acting debut in 1985 with the Marathi film ‘Ardhangi.’
- Ajinkya came into the limelight in 1987 after he played the lead role Sarja in the Marathi film ‘Sarja.’ The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi.
- He has also acted in an episodic TV serial ‘Zee Horror Show’ (1995-1996).
- He has worked in different languages like Hindi, English, and Marathi.
- Ajinkya Deo is also the executive director of ‘Prabhat Entertainment’ TV channel.
