• As a student at Sainik School Tilaiya, Ajeet Bharti was part of various societies as well as the basketball team. He also won several awards in stand-up comedy acts and theatre.

• He was a science scholar and the president of the school’s Electronics club.

• During his undergraduate studies at Kirori Mal College from 2004 to 2007, he actively participated in literary fests and was one of the editors of the annual college magazine.

• He started his career as an academic project coordinator at an Information Technology consulting company, Endeavour Systems Private Limited, Delhi, in 2007.

• As a journalism postgraduate student (2008-2010) at Guru Gobind Indraprastha University in New Delhi, he wrote and published articles for various journals and in-house magazines.

• He worked as an intern at The Times of India in 2010, then as a copy editor at The Economic Times till 2012, and then as a senior sub-editor at the Indo-Asian News Service until February 2013.

• He worked as an Assistant Professor at the Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, New Delhi in 2013.
