• Afsana Ara Bindu grew up in Dhaka.

  

• During her teenage years, she dreamt of doing various jobs like selling almonds and becoming a bus conductor or truck driver. However, her parents wanted her to become a doctor.

• She once shared that she was very naughty in her childhood. She once fell down and got 11 stitches on her forehead, 5 on her lips, and 15 stitches on both her hands.

• While growing up, she started developing an interest in acting.

• She worked as a model in various print advertisements and photoshoots.

  

• She has been featured in a few TV commercials like Lux, Ektel, and Finlay Tea.

• Afsana gained immense popularity with her debut TV show Lux Channel I Super Star in which she finished as the 1st runner-up. The Bangladeshi actor Zakia Bari Momo was her competitor in the show.

• She has appeared in a few Bangladeshi TV movies like Shokher Gari (2008).
