• Adnan Sajid Khan is popularly known by his character names, Gullu Dada and Gullu Bhai in the film industry.

• He was a huge Sholay fan back in 1957. When he was in class nine at Ramakrishna, he used to continuously recite Sholay dialogues to his friends and family.

• He started his professional career in the 90s as a stage singer and went on to become an actor in 2007.

• Adnan aspired to become a singer. He started out as a stage vocalist in the 1990s. He never planned on becoming an actor.

• Adnan is considered one of the top influential celebrities in the Deccani film industry.

• He has been a part of more than 20 movies that have been made in the Hyderabadi language with most of them completing 50 days in theatres in the Nizam Circuit.

• According to him, there are young people in businesses and other emerging actors who are producing Hyderabadi movies and facing huge losses as viewers are not interested in Hyderabadi movies. Consequently, Adnan clarified that he did not want to be part of their losses.

• He went on to mention that he would continue his career in the showbiz world with Telugu and Bollywood movies.

• Adnan Sajid Khan announced on 17 November 2021 that he has quit the film industry. However, he remained in the industry as a producer.

• On 7 June 2023, he made a guest appearance as a singer at the Dawat-e-Hyderabad, a festive event in Bengaluru.

• On his Instagram page, he posts various humorous reels of his movies and with his friends.

• He has various restaurants in India and launched another one in Maharashtra, called Hotel Charminar Family Restaurant on 12 March 2023.

• Adnan not only owns many restaurants in India but has one in Dubai too,  called Hyderabady Houz which he launched on 3 May 2024.
