Some Lesser Known Facts About Abbie Stockard

• At the age of 2, she started her training in dance at Jackie O’neal School of Dance in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.

• Her parents got divorced when she was in class 3. She once said that it was the most stressful phase of her life. At that time, her dance classes used to be her stress buster.

  

• While she was in senior year of her high school, she joined a theatre group named Birmingham Dance Theatre. Later, she joined another dance group named Rebelette Dance Team. She won various dance competitions while being a part of various dance groups.

  

• During her college days, she was a part of Auburn University Tiger Paws dance team. She was the president of the group called Youth Leadership.

• When her mother was 19 years old, her mother won a few beauty pageants like Miss Reveille and Miss Vestavia which inspired Abbie to participate in beauty pageants.

• She has been part of a cheerleader group for a few years.

  

• She has also worked as a student recruiter.

• She participated in the Miss Vestavia beauty pageant in 2020 and won the pageant.

  

• In 2023, Abbie won the beauty pageant Miss Trussville.

  

• A year later, she won the Miss Hoover 2024 beauty pageant.

  

• In 2024, she won the Miss Alabama title at Samford University’s Wright Center in Birmingham. She went on to represent Alabama in the Miss America pageant.

  

• She once shared that she wanted to do PhD in Anaesthesia and Paediatrics.

• She has been a member of Alpha Gamma Delta (AGD), an international women’s fraternity and social organization for a few years.

• Abbie has been associated with Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for a few years. She was awarded “2024 Hero of Hope” by the foundation. She has raised around over $200,000 for Cystic Fibrosis research. She has also supported a few other social welfare campaigns.

  

• In 2025, she represented Albama city in Miss America pageant. She won the pageant and won a $50,000 cash scholarship. The event was held at the Walt Disney Theatre at Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida and hosted by Terrence J and Nikki Novak.

  

• In the same year, she was appointed as global ambassador for the Miss America Opportunity.
