Aanandee Tripathi, also spelt as Aanandi Tripathi, is an Indian actress and former model. She is known for her roles in Gujarati and Hindi films and TV shows like ‘Yeh Teri Galiyan’ (2018), ‘Chu Chu Ka Murabba’ (2018), and ‘Shrimad Ramayan’ (2024).

According to her, she wanted to become an actress since childhood, and moved to Mumbai from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, in 2000. During a talk with the media, she once talked about how she got into the entertainment industry. She said,

When I went to Mumbai, I also visited Rajshree Productions. A few days after returning to Indore , I got a call for a Kannada film. That’s how I got my first break in the first Kannada film. This is where my film industry started.”

Reportedly, her father was friends with Indian cinematographer Dharam Chopra. When she was in school, they went to meet Dharam Chopra at his office, but he was not there. Instead, they met B. R. Chopra, an Indian director and film producer. This meeting led to Anandi getting an opportunity to act. Her first ad film, given by B. R. Chopra, was shown in Pakistan.

In 2001, Aanandee Tripathi worked in the Hindi film ‘Aashiq’ with actors Karisma Kapoor and Bobby Deol.

The same year, she appeared in the Gujarati film ‘Maiyar Ma Mandu Nathi Lagtu’ as Ratan’s sister.

Anandi Tripathi once shared during a media conversation about a difficult period in her life when she was depressed and used to overeat. She said that she always remembered her grandmother’s advice to never quit. Following her words, she began reading the Bhagavad Gita, which helped her beat depression.
