• Gaurav Dubey is an Indian actor, stand-up comedian, and scriptwriter. He has appeared in various Hindi TV comedy shows.

• He was born and brought up in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.

  

• While he was studying in school, he used to do mimicry in various school competitions.

• His father wanted him to become an engineer, but he wanted to make his career as a comedian. So, he shifted to Mumbai from Uttar Pradesh.

• He then contacted one of the writers of the Indian reality TV comedy show ‘Comedy Circus’ through Facebook and started assisting him in script writing. While he was on the sets of the show, he started observing other comedians. After working as a scriptwriter for a few months, he started performing as a stand-up comedian at various stage shows and events.

• In 2015, he acted in the TV comedy show ‘Comedy Classes;’ the show gained popularity with the ‘Selfie Mausi’ character which was played by the Indian comedian Siddharth Sagar.
