Some Lesser Known Facts About Indresh Kumar

Indresh Kumar was born into a wealthy business family in Samana, Punjab. His family later shifted to Kaithal, Haryana where he did his schooling.

After completing his engineering, he became a member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on 16 July 1970.

He was involved in many underground movements during the 1975 emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi.

He later worked on many RSS projects. He played a key role in Jammu & Kashmir for more than ten years which included setting up multiple village and town organisations to counter-terrorism and also laid the foundation for the rehabilitation camps.

On 24 December 2002, he formed a Muslim organisation named Muslim Rashtriya Manch.

Kumar has held important positions in the RSS such as an executive member of RSS.
